Moni Goes Macro

Happy Labor Day!!  I needed this 3-day weekend pretty badly.  After celebrating a birthday and moving for the 5th time in 5 years, I needed some time to chill!  Plus I start school again next week, so the holiday couldn’t have come at a better time.  What better way to take advantage of a day off and my last week before school than to break in my new macro lens (though brunch and mimosas were a good idea too…)?   This lens is a TON of fun to shoot with, but I definitely need to learn it and practice.  Hope you enjoy the results of its maiden voyage!
P.S.  Big shout out to my mom who was a total superstar and rocked my move like a hurricane!  Thanks for all your help, you’re the BEST!!!

If only my camera dispensed treats.

I'll take a dozen, please.

It ain't easy being green.

Yippee!!!!!!!!!!! I am the first finally to make a comment! Love the picture of Remie, (you actually captured his soul , it can be seen in his eyes) he loves you. And the flowers are stunning. I love the new lens . Keep up the great work…… Love from Florida (MarySue)

  2. These are gorgeous, Mons! Love the one of the Remster. He indeed looks like he is simultaneously in love with you and thinking about Snausages. xo!

Great job on your first Lens outing. You definitely got excellent color and detail with the new lens. You can almost feel Remie’s fur in that picture.
